INTRAUTERINE DEVICE INSERTION KIT WITH SCISSORS

Intrauterine device (IUD) insertion kit with scissors.

This medical device is used to insert and remove intrauterine devices. The kit is ready for use and enables the entire procedure for inserting and removing the intrauterine device to be carried out.

The kit includes:

 A hysterometer for measuring the depth of the uterus
    A Pozzi forceps for grasping the cervix and applying ‘traction and fixation’ to the cervix
    A Chéron forceps for the correct insertion of the IUD
    A long plastic pair of scissors for cutting the IUD thread once it has been inserted into the uterus
    Enables the procedure to be carried out conveniently, quickly and safely

    Also available in a version without scissors
