HANDLIN – UTERINE MANIPULATOR/INJECTOR FOR DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSES

Used in procedures involving manipulation of the uterus and/or the injection of contrast fluids during diagnostic laparoscopy and fertility tests. It is characterised by a curved shape that facilitates its insertion.

It consists of:

    A dual-lumen inner catheter with a measurement scale from 4 to 10 cm to determine the correct insertion depth
    A rigid handle
    A simple and secure locking mechanism that prevents accidental movement during the procedure

A 10 cc PVC balloon, 20 mm in diameter, fitted to the tip of the catheter to minimise the risk of accidental perforation and prevent contrast medium reflux
    A one-way valve for inflating the balloon, connected to a reference chamber which allows the actual state of the internal balloon to be visualised
    A Luer-lock connector for injecting the contrast medium
